Farmington Hills, Mich., January 20, 1999 – Interested in learning
more about vegetarian cooking, but fear it’ll mean joining a co-op or moving to
a commune? Time to update your recipe database as well as your attitude at the
next cooking session at Botsford’s Health Development Network (HDN).
On Thursday, January 28, Chef Larry Janes presents Almost
Vegetarian, a gentle primer for those who’d like to go veggie — either
permanently or just part-time. Offering a scrumptious range of recipes as well
as a good dash of culinary common sense and sanity-saving tips, Janes fearlessly
leads participants through the meatless realm with a variety of entrees, side
dishes — and even desserts!
This session, sponsored by Botsford Health Development Network, will be held
at the Botsford Center for Health Improvement, 39750 Grand River Ave., in Novi,
at 7 p.m. A $6 fee and, due to space limitations, preregistration is
required. For more information or to register, call (248) 477-6100.
