General Information

I. Program Application

Acceptance into the radiology program is through the A.O.A. coordinated internship and residency match. Fourth year osteopathic medical students apply for a traditional internship coordinated with a radiology residency (The application is available online at http://www.botsfordsystem.org/meded/app.htm). Three letters of recommendation are required with the application. Applications are reviewed and promising candidates are granted an interview with the program director, Chairman of the Department of Radiology, Director of Medical Education and Department of Radiology staff and residents. Favorable ranking from the institution is based upon the recommendations, transcripts and personal interviews. The Director of Medical Education and all members of the Radiology Department contribute to the process.

Following a successful "match", the internship must be completed in good standing before acceptance into the radiology residency.
